In the structure of non-life insurance, the largest share belongs to MTPL (35.9%), followed by Motor Hull (19.3%), fire and natural damage (9.2%) and other property insurance (8.0%).
Total paid claims in January amounted to EUR 91.9 million. Of that amount, EUR 25.4 million were paid in life insurance (27.6 %), and EUR 66.6 million – in non-life insurance (72.4 %). In non-life paid claims, the largest amounts were paid for MTPL (43.7%), Motor Hull (20.2%), other property insurance (7.8%) and fire and natural damage (6.5%).
In January 2025, 14 insurance companies operated in Croatia. The market leader is Croatia osiguranje with a 25.80% share, followed by Euroherc osiguranje with 12.95%, Adriatic with 12.48%, Allianz Hrvatska with 10.05% and Wiener osiguranje VIG with 6.94%, according to the HANFA (Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency) report.
