As of 1 September 2025, Dariusz Adamski will take up the position of Vice-Chairman of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), Polish journal Gazeta Ubezpieczeniowa wrote. He will oversee the Capital Market Supervision Division.
Adamski is a professor of law at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław, specializing in Polish and EU economic and financial law and governance. His international academic credentials include a Fulbright Scholarship at Harvard University, a research fellowship at the European Central Bank, and a Fernand Braudel Fellowship at the European University Institute in Florence. He also serves on the Scientific Council of the European Banking Institute in Frankfurt and the Advisory Committee of EMU Lab at the European University Institute.
A prolific author on financial market regulation and a doctoral supervisor, Adamski is a frequent speaker at national and international industry conferences. Between 2024 and 2025, he served as Director of the Institute of Finance at the Ministry of Finance.
