ESG IN INSURANCE Conference: Generali’s vision on promoting a culture of sustainability among SMEs

Leonardo MEOLI, Head of Sustainability Business Integration, Generali Group has confirmed his presence at the ESG IN INSURANCE Conference, in Vienna, to talk about Generali’s commitment to sustainability and boost “just transition” among European’s SMEs.

SMEs collectively represent more than half of Europe’s GDP and 99% of companies in the EU, they are the bedrock of the European economy and are essential drivers of sustainable transition, reveals a Generali’s document published on the occasion of the launch of SME EnterPRIZE, the Group’s flagship project designed to promote a culture of sustainability among European SMEs.

“Promoting a culture of sustainability among SMEs and ensuring their financial resilience means supporting sustainable development and reducing the protection gap for vulnerable communities,” a Group’s top representative stated when the project was launched. The most relevant details pf this project will presented in Vienna, on 16 April.

The conference speakers will review the best practices and strategies in insurers’ and pension funds’ investments, will share their view on future evolution and challenges.
