ESTONIA: The Estonian Insurance Association and the Estonian Motor Insurance Fund have a new CEO

15 September 2025 — Marina MAGNAVAL

The new chairman of the board of the Estonian Insurance Association (EKsL) and the Estonian Motor Insurance Fund (LKF) is Tuuli Pärenson. The long-standing chairman of the board, Mart Jesse, stepped down on September 11, the press release said.

“In my new role, I am inspired by the opportunity to contribute to the Estonian economic environment in a way that our people would want to live in Estonia and develop their businesses here", said Pärenson.

“As a result of our joint work, customer trust in insurance is now very high. Several services that originated in Estonia have permanently changed the way insurance works, not only in Estonia but also elsewhere in Europe”, commented Mart Jesse. Jesse believes that a lot has been accomplished, but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

A survey conducted in May this year in cooperation with EKsL and Turu-uuringute AS revealed that 75% of Estonians trust insurance.
