EKsL and the Estonian Insurance Brokers Association are organizing selection of the best act in insurance of the year for the first time. Eight applications were received for the competition, Association of Estonian Insurance Companies (EKsL) informed.

Among the applications are the following:

• Balcia insurance - Balcia insurance market entry and first products. Balcia insurance started selling products in less than 90 days and brought added value and modernity to the Estonian insurance industry with its new products.

• Estonian Traffic Insurance Fund - Traffic accident digital notification avarii.ee.

• ERGO - The greenest office.

• Telia Eesti - Traffic insurance reminder in the PARGI.EE mobile application. Telia Eesti and Estonian Traffic Insurance Fund launched a traffic insurance reminder in the PARGI.EE mobile application on May 8 to reduce the number of vehicles without insurance in traffic.

The purpose of the competition is to draw attention to the importance of insurance. The competition recognizes associations or people who help to prevent major damage and thereby create a better society.

The winner of the insurance act of the year 2023 will be announced at the insurance conference on October 18.
