Estonian LHV increases its offering on the local non-life insurance market

Estonian LHV Kindlustus, has just started the active offering of motor insurance, bringing a domestic alternative to the non-life insurance market occupied by foreign companies, MarketScreener reports. The company is already providing home insurance, as well as equipment and additional guarantee insurance.

According to Jaanus Seppa, Chairman of the Management Board of LHV Kindlustus, one of the main company's goals is "to offer the best insurance and the best service in the settlement of claims." He also explaines that currently "the non-life insurance market is dominated by foreign insurers with a market share of 90%. We have now brought a clear domestic alternative to our clients. Our company is owned by 13,000 Estonian people and businesses."

LHV Kindlustus's portofoilio of motor insurance products includes three types of Motor Hull insurance (Super Kasko, Mega Kasko and Roheline Kasko) with different degrees of coverage, as well as MTPL insurance. On the property insurance side, the Super Kodu, Mega Kodu, and Roheline Kodu packages are covering the needs of different categories of customers - homeowners, tenants or landlords.

For later this year, the company has announced it will also start providing travel insurance and accident insurance
