Eurohold Bulgaria increases its revenues in 1Q2025 by nearly 34% y-o-y

One of the leading energy and financial groups in Southeast Europe - Eurohold Bulgaria AD, said it increased its revenues for 1Q2025 by nearly 34% y-o-y to almost BGN 1 billion, according to the holding's consolidated financial report for the period.

Operating profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) decreased by 10.6% vs January-March of the previous year to BGN 97.2 million. The net financial result for the first three months of 2025 is approximately BGN 38 million vs BGN 45 million for the same period a year earlier. The group's assets increased by almost 5% y-o-y to nearly BGN 2.9 billion.

Revenues and operating profit from energy activities, which form a large part of the holding's business, reached BGN 797 million and BGN 127.8 million, respectively, which is 39.7% and 1.6% more y-o-y. Revenues from insurance activities also increased - by over 13.2% to BGN 133.1 million. After a one-time effect and with the increase in expenses, the final financial result in this segment was negative for the reporting period.

The financial and investment segment of the business, which has a small share in the overall results, registered positive trend in revenues and profit.

The key takeaways of the report:

● Revenues from energy activities increased by 39.7% to BGN 796.9 million.
