GEORGIA: Green Insurance Georgia has placed 9,000,000 shares on the Georgian Stock Exchange

Insurance company Green Insurance Georgia has placed Class B 9,000,000 shares for trading on the Georgian Stock Exchange. The nominal value of one share is 1 GEL, as the company recently informed on its website.

"Our team believes that allowing shares to be traded on the Georgian stock exchange is a success not only for the company, but also for the country, stock exchanges are important for the development. Formation of the capital market and investment are a serious step forward for our country. Insurance companies are one of the biggest institutional investors in the international market", said Eka CENTERADZE, General Director, Green Insurance Georgia.

Starting December 24, 2020, Class B shares of the Green Insurance Georgia were admitted to the B category listing and trading system of the Georgian Stock Exchange. Green Insurance Georgia holds two types of insurance licenses for life and non-life insurance services.

Green Insurance Georgia was founded in 2013 and operated on the market under the name Kamara. The company offers a wide range of non-life insurance products. Considering that the company's priority is customer-oriented product development, Green Insurance Georgia has recently launched an innovative project - Motorcycle Insurance, which has had the great resonance among its customers.
