KAZAKHSTAN: National Bank made supervisory recommendations as response to the Jan-Sept violations

The National Bank of Kazakhstan published three advisory measures as a supervisory response, after the analysis of violations of the rights and interests of financial services consumers, committed by insurance companies in the first three quarters of 2019, Allinsurance.kz reports.

According to the regulator's press service, the deficiencies were related to the procedure of making calculations and photographing damaged vehicles, untimely response to clients' applications and non-compliance with the procedure of inspection and estimation of damaged vehicles.

During the period, consumers' complaints included issues on the compulsory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners segment, voluntary insurance of vehicles, insurance of mortgaged property, life insurance and universal life insurance products, Allinsurance.kz writes.
