KAZAKHSTAN: increase in charter capital to allow Nomad Insurance Group to continue expanding its operations at the international level

The charter capital of two companies of the Nomad Insurance Group — Nomad Insurance and Nomad Life — has been increased by KZT 15.5 billion (~EUR 28.36 million).

As a result, an increase in the capital of Nomad Insurance amounted to KZT 5 billion, while the capital of Nomad Life increased by KZT 10.5 billion, the Group said in its statement.

“The increase in the charter capital is not just an investment in the future of our companies, but also a confirmation of our commitment to high standards of reliability and quality of service. This confirms the desire of Nomad Insurance Group to further develop and strengthen its position in the insurance services market, as well as to ensure a high level of reliability and trust from customers and partners”, commented Almas Mynbayev, a shareholder of Nomad Insurance Group.

It is noted that additional funds will increase the level of the Group’s own risk retention, strengthen its positions in current markets and allow the Group to continue expanding its operations at the international level.

The companies of the Nomad Insurance Group are among the top 10 insurers in Kazakhstan. As of January 1, 2025, the Group’s assets amounted to KZT 482.9 billion, reserves reached KZT 385 billion, equity – KZT 51.4 billion.
