KYRGYZSTAN: insurance rates reduced for small and medium-sized businesses since December

According to the State Tax Service, in Kyrgyzstan, from December 2022, for small and medium-sized businesses with an annual revenue of no more than KGS 30 million/~EUR 334 thousand, insurance tariff rates were reduced for a period up to January 1, 2027, knews.kg reports.

Relevant changes were made to the legislation in the field of state social insurance in November 2022 to further develop and support small and medium-sized businesses.

Insurance tariff rates for small and medium-sized businesses with an annual revenue of not more than KGS 30 million with a number of employees of 5-14 people - reduced from 27.25% to 22% (12% from an employer and 10% from an employee); with a number of employees of 15 people or more - reduced from 27.25% to 14% (4% from an employer and 10% from an employee).
