The Slovenian insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav has been notified that the Slovenian Insurance Supervision Agency has issued an ex officio decision prohibiting Vinko Letnar, currently listed in the company register as a member of the Supervisory Board of Zavarovalnica Triglav, from fulfilling the role of a Supervisory Board member due to non-compliance with statutory requirements.

“On 17 January 2024, Zavarovalnica Triglav was informed that on 10 January 2024 the Senate of the Slovenian Insurance Supervision Agency issued a decision ex officio, prohibiting Vinko Letnar, who is entered in the register of companies as a Supervisory Board member of Zavarovalnica Triglav, from performing the function of a Supervisory Board member due to his failure to comply with statutory requirements. The Insurance Supervision Agency's decision is final and enforceable and confirms the position of Zavarovalnica Triglav's Supervisory Board on the illegality of Mr Letnar's appointment by the Company's Works Council”, informed the Slovene insurer here.
