MONTENEGRO: In 9M2025, net profit of the Montenegro’s top insurer rises to almost EUR 3 million

In the first nine months of 2025, net profit of the Montenegro's top insurer Lovcen Osiguranje, part of Slovenia's Triglav Group, rose to EUR 2.99 million from EUR 2.45 million in the like period of 2024, SeeNews reports.

In January-September, the company’s operating revenue increased to EUR 22.67 million from EUR 20.76 million in the first nine months of 2024, with gross premium income climbing to EUR 22.16 million from EUR 20.31 million, as Lovcen Osiguranje said in its financial statement.

Operating expenses rose to EUR 13.82 million in the first nine months of the year from EUR 12.35 million in the same period of 2024. The gross operating profit climbed to EUR 8.85 million from EUR 8.41 million.

The company's total assets increased to EUR 75.78 million at the end of September from EUR 66.87 million a year earlier.

It is noted that Lovcen was the largest insurer in terms of gross written premiums among nine active insurance companies in Montenegro at the end of September, according to data from the country's insurance supervision agency ANO.
