Polish insurer Warta stands in solidarity with Ukraine

Polish insurer WARTA, has allocated PLN 11 million (~EUR 2,25 million) to providing active help for Ukrainian citizens. Warta is also one of the Polish insurers providing for free 30 days MTPL insurance for all refugees coming by car from Ukraine to Poland without carrying a Green Card policy.


Insurer NN Group to make donations of at least EUR 1 million to humanitarian aid relief

Following the invasion of Ukraine, the Dutch insurance group NN announced is making donations of at least EUR 1 million to humanitarian aid relief. This will include instant relief in Ukraine via the joint action of Dutch aid organizations (Giro 555), as well as initiatives taken by the NN business units in Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.

VIG and Uniqa come to the aid of their Ukrainian employees who had to seek refugee abroad

Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) has set up proactively a VIG Family Fund with EUR 5 million as a basis to which its management has invited all VIG Group companies and employees to contribute. The goal of the fund is to support directly affected families of VIG's Ukrainian companies. A VIG Holding committee together with local committees will be set up to distribute targeted support under the personal leadership of Harald Riener, VIG Managing Board member responsible for Ukraine.
