Tbilisi will host on 4 May the 2023 edition of the International Insurance Conference of Georgia, an event organized at the initiative of the State Insurance Supervision Service of Georgia and with the logistical support of XPRIMM. The Conference will provide for a comprehensive analysis of the current status of the Georgian market, as well as its development perspectives and strategic steps towards a mature, highly professionalized market.
Georgian International Insurance Conference is the most important event on the Georgian market dedicated to insurance and reinsurance, and a top-level platform for the exchange of business insights.
The main focus of the conference will be on the forthcoming introduction of the mandatory MTPL insurance system. Top local and foreign speakers will address key aspects of the system's architecture, the opportunities and also the challenges that this new line of business will bring to the Georgian market, as well as the technological improvement that may enable local insurers to provide the best services. Best practice examples and lessons drawn from the relevant events in other markets will be also presented.
