"Despite a significant decline, Polish society still cannot afford high costs of road accidents. Therefore, the actions taken by the Ministry of Infrastructure and the National Council of Statutory Auditors focus primarily on reducing the number of their victims. We see this opportunity in the implementation of the new National Road Safety Program for the years 2021-2030. It involves many entities at the central and local government level, as well as, inter alia, the police or the fire brigade. At the operational level, the National Road Safety Council carries out activities in the field of programming and monitoring, research and analysis, education and promotion, training of road safety personnel and development of cooperation with regions, non-governmental organizations, and foreign institutions" says Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Rafal WEBER.
