The jury of the competition of leaders of the global financial market awarded UNIQA the title of "Best Insurance Company in Poland", the press service of UNIQA reports.

UNIQA was recognized for its record financial results in 2024, high profitability, product initiatives and development of the sales network.

The aim of the competition is to reward people who have significantly contributed to the development of the financial market in Poland, as well as the most effective banks and insurers and the most interesting solutions.

“We would like to thank the jury for this valuable award. We view this award as confirmation that the path we took a few years ago was the right one. We are consistently implementing our business strategy and building a company in which our clients, employees and business partners feel good”, said Marcin Nedwidek, President of the Management Board of UNIQA in Poland.

UNIQA in Poland ended 2024 with GWP worth PLN 5.5 billion (~EUR 1.28 billion), which is 18.9% more y-o-y. The company recorded a 20.7% increase in the property business and 11.2% increase in the life segment. In November 2024, S&P Global Ratings awarded UNIQA in Poland an A rating with a stable outlook.
