SAFETY Insurance Broker, the largest insurance broker in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, agrees to sell 80% shares to the UNILINK Group, the largest insurance broker in Poland.

After the deal, Viorel VASILE - the founder and main shareholder of Safety Broker will continue to hold 15% in the company, while Robert NITA - the company's chief legal officer, will keep 5%.

At the same time, Viorel VASILE will maintain his CEO position after the deal.

www.1asig.ro wrote that, after the completion of the transaction, the company's BoD will consist of 3 SAFETY Broker representatives (Viorel VASILE, Robert NITA and Cati STOICAN) and 2 UNILINK representatives (Igor RUSINOWSKI and Aleksandra FRIEDEL).

In September, Unilink took over the largest Bulgarian player, I&G Insurance Brokers, also buying an 80% stake.
