RUSSIA: Leading insurers, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Finance, and the FAS to discuss plans for development and regulation of the insurance market

Insurance regulation, strategy and tactics of leading insurance companies, changes in business models and insurance products, including from the point of view of consumer protection, will become the main topic of the 7th Annual Forum of Insurance Market Leaders.

The forum will take place on October 28, 2021, in Moscow. It will gather together representatives of the key insurance regulators, more than 200 owners and managers of insurance companies, collecting 90% of total GWP in the country, as well as heads of banks, leading medical institutions and IT companies working with insurance organizations.

Among the speakers - Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Vladimir Chistyukhin, Head of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets Anatoly Aksakov, Insurance Consumer Commissioner Viktor Klimov, Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the Russian Federation Andrey Kashevarov, Head of the Department of Financial Policy of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Ivan Chebeskov, President of the All-Russian Insurance Association Igor Yurgens, top officials of Rosgosstrakh, Ingosstrakh, Sberbank Insurance, Insurance House VSK, AlfaStrakhovanie, Soglasie and many others.

Key forum reports are devoted to changes in the requirements for the insurers' financial solvency, control over the work of intermediaries and quality of financial services, regulation of the consumer value of insurance products and the "Payout Indicator" from the Bank of Russia, judicial practice, development and regulation of ecosystems, as well as forecasts and strategies of the largest players in the insurance market taking into account pandemic realities.
