Romania's Parliament has voted Nicu MARCU as ASF President

Romania's parliament has voted Nicu MARCU as President of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF), informed here. Previously, Nicu MARCU served as Vice-President of Romania's Court of Accounts.

More than that, last Tuesday, Nicu MARCU received a favorable opinion from members of the Economic Committees of the Romanian Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. He received 51 votes in favor, 6 against and one abstention.

Nicu MARCU is replacing Leonardo BADEA, who was named Vice-governor of Romania's National Bank in October 2019. The interim is provided by Doina DASCALU, First Vice-President of the Authority.
