Macedonian insurers posted January-June aggregate GWP worth MKD 7.4 billion (~EUR 119.5 million), 14.1% more y-o-y, according to the market figures published by the Insurance Supervision Agency of Macedonia.

Non-life GWP accounted for 84.4% of the total GWP (MKD 6.2 billion, or ~EUR 100.9 million) - of which MTPL (35.4% of total), property (20.3%), MoD (7.7%), GTPL (2.5%) and other non-life subclasses (18.6%), the remaining share of 15.6% being represented by the life insurance segment: GWP of EUR 18.6 million.

During the analyzed period, EUROLINK – 13.1% market share was the largest non-life insurer in the country, while CROATIA (29.8%) led the life field.
