MOLDOVA: Market has growth potential but relies heavily on motor insurance
GWP reached MDL 3.54 billion in the second quarter of 2026. Meanwhile, insurance penetration stood at approximately 0.9% of GDP in 2025. POLAND: Bancassurance on the rise both in life and non-life insurance in 1H
In the first half of 2026, GWP from policies sold through banks reached PLN 4.1 billion (~EUR 0.95 billion), which was 39.1% more y-o-y. As a result, bancassurance's share increased to almost 19% of the entire life sector in Poland.
