Alexander ZALETOV headed the department for supervision of financial companies at the Department for supervision of non-banking financial services at the National Bank of Ukraine, Forinshurer said.

From May 1998 to January 2015, Alexander held leading positions at the Committee for Supervision of Insurance Activities and the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, handling issues related to regulation of the activities of non-bank financial institutions, as well as development of strategies and programs for the financial services markets.

From February 2015 to July 2020, Alexander served as a member of the National Financial Services Committee of Ukraine, where he coordinated the work of structural divisions on: bringing the non-banking financial legislation of Ukraine close to the norms of the European Union; consolidated supervision and supervision over the activities of financial companies; analysis of the condition and development trends of financial services markets, including the global markets; as well as the formation of working plans and preparation of annual reports on the work of the National Financial Services Committee. Since July 2020, he served as Vice President of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine.
