For the first half of 2021, GWP of the TAS Group (included in the TOP-3 leaders in life and non-life insurance in Ukraine) amounted to UAH 1,152.65 million (EUR 35.63 million*), which is 25.7% more y-o-y, Forinshurer said.

The dominant share in the TAS portfolio (33.37%) belongs to MTPL, which increased by 12.1% to UAH 384.67 million. The second place in terms of GWP is taken by Motor Hull with a share of 22.07% (UAH 254.41 million, +40%). Green Card policies generated UAH 166.79 million in premiums (+29.5%). Voluntary health insurance increased by 52.6% y-o-y to UAH 143.31 million.

The company's paid claims for the first half of the year reached UAH 553.74 million, which is 34.8% more than in the same period in 2020. MTPL paid claims increased by 44.8%, amounting to UAH 210.82 million, which is 38.07% of all company's paid claims. The second place in the paid claims' portfolio belongs to Motor Hull (32.64%), while voluntary health insurance accounted for 15.79% of the total amount of the company's claims paid.
