In the 4Q2022, the number of concluded MTPL contracts amounted to almost 2 million units, which is 13% less than in the same period in 2021. GWP on them reached UAH 2 billion, (~EUR 50.95 million) which is 6.2% more y-o-y, according to a press release from MTIBU (Motor Transport Bureau of Ukraine)

MTPL insurers settled over 27,000 claims from road accident victims, on which they paid out UAH 757 million. The number of claims settled decreased by 40%, while the amount of insurance payments - by 26% compared to 4Q2021.

TAS ranks first in terms of GWP collected, as well as in terms of the number of claims settled and the amount of compensation paid. The second and third places are occupied by ORANTA and Knyazha Vienna Insurance Group.
