TAS Insurance Group, which is among the top 20 insurers in Ukraine, collected UAH 3,224.32 million (~EUR 81.26 million) in premiums in January–November 2023, which is 46.6% more y-o-y, Forinsurer wrote.

In Motor Hull the company generated UAH 652.81 million in 11 months, which is 20.25% of the insurer’s total GWP and 44.1% more than for January–November 2022.

Almost a third of the company’s GWP for the reporting period (32.23%) came from MTPL – UAH 1039.21 million, which is 36.7% more y-o-y. GWP on Green Card policies increased by 76.8%, to UAH 775.65 million, which is equal to 24.06% of the company’s premiums for the reporting period.

Voluntary health insurance increased by 48.4%, reaching UAH 378.26 million, which is 11.73% of the company’s total premiums for January – November 2023.

During the reporting period, paid claims of the TAS group amounted to UAH 1,200.64 million, which is 47.7% more y-o-y. In Motor Hull the insurer paid UAH 362.99 million, which is 30.23% of the total and 62.2% higher than in January-November a year earlier.

The share of MTPL in the company's paid claims reached 37.6% (UAH 451.4 million, +39.7%). On Green Card policies the company paid out UAH 202.55 million, which is 16.87% of the total. Voluntary health insurance paid claims rose significantly (+37.6%), to UAH 145.69 million, which is 12.13% of the insurer’s total paid claims for the first 11 months of 2023.
