UNILINK takes over the Czech broker INSIA

Czech insurance broker INSIA becomes part of the Polish UNILINK group, as INSIA informed here. According to the statement, UNILINK Group has acquired 80% of INSIA from Marsh.

Together with the recent acquisition of Safety Broker in Romania and Moldova and I&G Brokers in Bulgaria, UNILINK Group has created the No. 1 insurance distribution platform in 6 CEE countries with EUR 1 billion in mediated premiums.

INSIA was founded in 1992 and is one of the largest insurance and credit brokers operating in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania, serving almost 500,000 clients with 1,300 partners in 450 offices. By the end of 2022, the total managed insurance premiums amount to approx. EUR 145 million.

Launched in 2010, UNILINK is the largest retail insurance distributor in Poland, serving 3 million clients with a network of 12,000 agents and 1,200 branches. By entering the Czech and Slovak markets with the company INSIA, UNILINK is implementing a plan aimed to form the largest insurance sales platform in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.
