After a successful one-year pilot project, UNIQA Insurance Group AG will become a permanent member of the Eurapco Alliance in 2024, the Austrian group announced in a press release.
Eurapco is a strategic international network in which eight insurance companies in Europe cooperate with each other. The cooperation is based on the regular exchange of knowledge between experts from the partner companies, solution-oriented learning and development in working groups and joint innovation. The main topics are transformation, digitalization, health and sustainability.
The employees of the partner companies exchange specialist knowledge and best practices in all key business areas at over 300 events and meetings per year. The aim of the Eurapco partners is to strengthen their competitiveness and innovative ability and thus their activities in the respective local markets. There is a strong focus on developing customer-centric solutions.
“We are proud to now be a permanent partner of the Eurapco Alliance. This partnership is in line with our UNIQA 3.0 strategy, because it is also based on collaboration across the borders of countries, hierarchies or functions. In a time of rapid change and diverse challenges, we would like to actively and future-orientedly shape the insurance industry through mutual exchange,” Wolfgang Kindl, member of the board (Customer & Market International) at UNIQA Insurance Group AG said.
“The partnership with UNIQA as one of the leading insurance groups offers new opportunities and horizons for the Eurapco Alliance. We are pleased about this collaboration and are convinced that by exchanging knowledge and creating added value, we can strengthen both our shared capabilities as an alliance and those of the individual members,” says Oliver Schoeller, Chairman of Eurapco and also CEO of the Gothaer Group.
Promoting exchange and knowledge transfer
With more than 50 working groups and a wide range of annual activities, the Eurapco network covers all facets of the insurance industry. Accordingly, the alliance serves as a platform for international networking and further training for employees. Specifically, this is the Eurapco Academy, which offers various internationally oriented learning formats and deep dives. UNIQA will increasingly use these offers for the further training of its employees. In addition, these expanded opportunities for training and further education at an international level increase the attractiveness of the participating insurance companies as employers. In addition, the Eurapco Lab, dedicated to exploring new solutions for the insurance of the future, enables joint projects and business opportunities between partners.
"The cooperation with Eurapco is an excellent platform for international networking and further training for our employees. These exciting opportunities for training and further education of our experts at an international level also contribute to our attractiveness as an employer," says René Knapp, member of the Board of Directors (People, Brand & Sustainability) at UNIQA Insurance Group AG.
