Uzbekistan has developed a roadmap for compulsory health insurance introduction. In 2020, it is planned to establish a compulsory health insurance Fund from the state budget, according to the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan, Alisher SHADMANOV.

The pilot project is scheduled for 2021, to be launched in one of the country regions, and after full analysis of the results - in six regions. In 2025, if successful, the program should be already rolled out throughout the whole Republic, UzReport.news writes.
