The net profit of Azerbaijani insurance companies in the second quarter of 2026 amounted to AZN 90.6 million (~EUR 46.71 million), which is 12% more y-o-y, according to Trend.

PAŞA Həyat Sığorta led the way in net profit. During the reporting period, the company earned AZN 27.7 million in net profit (up 12%).

AzRe Təkrarsığorta ranked second, with net profit reaching AZN 22.5 million, a 101% y-o-y increase. This is one of the highest growth rates in the insurance market.

PAŞA Sığorta rounded out the top three. The company's net profit amounted to AZN 14.5 million, a 5% decrease from the previous year.

The combined net profit of the three largest insurance companies reached AZN 64.7 million, which represents 71.4% of the total net profit in the insurance sector, the source added.
