Asterra Grup was awarded the Gold Medal in the category "Financial Services" on June 25 within the "Trademark of the Year 2020" competition, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova in partnership with the State Agency for Intellectual Property, CapitalMarket reports.

In 2020, Asterra Grup SA ranked first in the insurance market of Moldova. For 15 years of activity, the company has created a wide network of about 80 branches / offices throughout the country. Asterra Grup provides all types of insurance services (general insurance, property insurance, motor insurance, civil liability insurance, personal insurance, agroinsurance and health insurance).

For many years in a row, Asterra Grup has been the winner of the Vip Magazin - Top Branduri award in the "Finance and Insurance" category, and at the "Moldovan Business Gala" ceremony the company received a gold medal in the "Financial Services" category in the "Leader of the Year" nomination.

In 2020 Asterra Grup increased its GWP by 25%, and at the end of the year its market share amounted to 18.2%. Despite all challenges of 2020, the company managed to introduce new products, improve stability and value of the services offered, and approve new sales strategies through implementation of the concept of online customer service, Asterra Grup noted.
