The insurance sector of Kyrgyzstan at the end of 2024 grew by 71.32%, reaching KGS 5,202.01 million (EUR 57.43 million), according to data published by the Service for regulation and supervision of the financial market of Kyrgyzstan.

Among the main insurance classes, personal insurance demonstrates the most impressive GWP growth (+141.95% y-o-y). Although property insurance occupies the largest share in the premium portfolio (51.47%).

Insurers' paid claims increased by 15.94%, amounting to KGS 852.33 million (EUR 9.41 million). Compulsory insurance recorded a three-digit growth in paid claims (+131.82%).

At the end of 2024, 15 insurers were operating on the market, among which GSO came out on top in terms of GWP, with its market share growing from 5.88% to 24.44%. NSK, the leader of the previous year, moved to third place, while ARSENAL Kyrgyzstan holds its second place.
