According to the January-September 2022 aggregate figures published by SLASPO (Slovak Insurance Association), at the end of Q3, total GWP from the members of the association totaled EUR 1.95 billion, up by 4.42% y-o-y. Premiums written in life insurance decreased by 0.5% y-o-y to EUR 772 million, while non-life segment was up by 7.9% y-o-y to EUR 1.18 billion.

In terms of GWP, the largest life insurers in the country were KOOPERATIVA VIG (EUR 233.27 million), Allianz-Slovenska (EUR 144.67 million) and Generali Poistovna (EUR 91.22 million), while the Top 3 in non-life insurance was formed by Allianz-Slovenska (EUR 354.51 million), KOOPERATIVA VIG (EUR 248.58 million) and Generali Poistovna (EUR 158.38 million).
