The 13th Joint European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) Consumer Protection Day will take place on 4 November 2026 in Rome, Italy, bringing together financial supervisors, industry representatives and consumer stakeholders to discuss key challenges for consumer protection in Europe's rapidly evolving financial markets.

Organised jointly by the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the event will focus on the theme “Ensuring fair access, better outcomes for consumers and responsible innovation in a changing financial landscape.”

The programme includes three panel discussions addressing safe and fair access to financial services, effective consumer remedies and post-sale redress, and the implications of consumers using artificial intelligence to obtain financial advice.

The event will be held at Teatro Quirino in Rome, with in-person participation only.

XPRIMM Publications will be represented at the event by Daniela GHETU, Editorial Director, who will follow the discussions and their implications for the European insurance industry.
