AZERBAIJAN: Social insurance revenues rose by 14.6% in January-April

Amidst legalization of the number of hired workers and the wage fund, budget revenues from compulsory state social insurance in Azerbaijan from January through April of this year amounted to AZN 2.03 billion (~EUR 1.05 billion), ABC.AZ writes with reference to the State Tax Service. According to the State Tax Service, this is 14.6% more y-o-y.

In particular, revenues from non-budgetary organizations increased by 12.3% over the year and reached AZN 1.35 billion.

During the reporting period, unemployment insurance revenues increased by 12.1%, amounting to AZN 72.2 million, including from non-budgetary organizations - by 13.1%, to AZN 55.2 million.

In addition, over the year, revenues from compulsory health insurance increased by 11.8% and reached AZN 355.7 million, including from non-budgetary organizations - by 11.5%, to AZN 251.1 million, the source added.
