Allianz Hrvatska, part of German insurer Allianz, said that in 2024 its gross profit reached a record high of EUR 29.3 million, which represents an increase of 21% y-o-y, thanks to growing profitability of both non-life and life insurance operations, SeeNews reports.

The company's GWP grew by 10.6% y-o-y to EUR 222.7 million in 2024, as Allianz Hrvatska said in a press release.

The company’s non-life GWP reached EUR 162 million, up 12.9% on the year, thanks to growth in property, liability, motor liability, third party and health insurance. While its life GWP gained 4.7% to EUR 60.7 million.

The solvency rate of Allianz Hrvatska at the end of 2024 stood at 199%, with a combined ratio of 90.3%, including the company’s branch on the Slovenian market, the source added.
