From January to May this year, GWP of insurance companies operating in Kosovo increased by 15.1% y-o-y to EUR 48.7 million, SeeNews wrote with reference to the central bank data.

Total net profit of Kosovo insurers in the period amounted to EUR 2.7 million vs EUR 1.3 million a year earlier, according to data published by the central bank.

The assets of the insurance companies in Kosovo rose to EUR 249.6 million at the end of May, up from EUR 238.6 million at the end of 2021.
