In 1H2022, total premiums amounted to KGS 25,268.1 thousand, the number of contracts was 37,886 units. In 2022, total GWP in the segment reached KGS 75,908.4 thousand, the number of contracts - 116,569 units.
In 1H2023, total premiums amounted to KGS 32,765.1 thousand (~EUR 344.20 thousand), the number of contracts was 50,342 units. In 2023, total GWP in the segment was recorded at KGS 86,639.5 thousand, the number of contracts - 135,855 units.
For 1H2024, premiums collected in compulsory home insurance against fire and natural disasters reached KGS 40,933.2 thousand (~EUR 442.66 thousand), and the number of contracts - 60,797 units.
As the regulator notes, such an increase in premiums and the number of contracts concluded indicates an improved interest of residential property owners in protecting their property from unexpected financial losses caused by fires and natural disasters.
It is noted that paid claims in the segment during the period under review also increased, which indicates the growing responsibility of insurers to clients.
