STATISTICS: MOLDOVA, FY2022: the market grows by more than 28% in a year

The insurance market of Moldova ended 2022 with an increase of 28.28%, reaching MDL 2.47 billion (EUR 121.26 million), according to data published by the National Financial Market Commission. Paid claims amounted to MDL 905.68 million (EUR 44.44 million), which is 36.78% more y-o-y.








STATISTICS: MOLDOVA, 1Q2022: the insurers' business expanded by more than 24% y-o-y

In the first quarter of 2022, the insurance sector of Moldova grew by more than 24% y-o-y to MDL 485.23 million (EUR 23.80 million). According to the information of brokers of insurance companies in Moldova, in the spring of 2022, the number and size of insurance contracts concluded by agricultural producers dropped sharply.
