Kosovar insurers posted 3Q 2024 Gross Written Premiums (GWPs) worth EUR 127.3 million, from EUR 110.1 million at the end of September 2023, data provided by the Central Bank show.

Life insurance GWP totaled EUR 5.6 million (vs. EUR 5.1 million), according to the "Financial System - Monthly Information" released on by the CBK. At the same time, non-life GWP increased by 14.9% y-o-y to EUR 120.6 million, of which EUR 66.6 million related to Domestic MTPL, EUR 6.6 million - Border policies and EUR 54 million - other voluntary classes, according to "The Insurance Companies Activity" published by CBK.

The Q3 2024 aggregate net profit of Kosovo insurers totaled EUR 12.7 million, from EUR 9.4 million a year earlier, according to the central bank monthly figures.

The assets held by Kosovo insurance companies increased to EUR 333.6 million at the end of September, up from EUR 330.7 million at the end of Q3 2023.
