Montenegrin insurance market totaled EUR 74.43 million at the end of September 2021, 3.91% more y-o-y, accoring to the quarterly market data released by Insurance Supervision Agency.

During the period, local insurers paid claims worth EUR 30.81 million (+22.10% y-o-y) of which EUR 7.32 million - life indemnities and EUR 23.50 million - non-life claims.

Non-life GWP increased by 6.29% y-o-y to EUR 60.84 million, while life segment dropped by 5.52% y-o-y to EUR 13.59 million.

GRAWE is the larges life insurer in the country (32.91% market share) followed by WIENER (32.21%), while the general insurance segment is led by LOVCEN (43.45%) and SAVA (18.23%).
