The value of aggregate gross written premiums of insurer members of Slovak Insurance Association - SLASPO has risen by an annual of 3.62% to EUR 632.29 million in the first three months of 2015, as the preliminary SLASPO statistics indicated.

The market continued to be dominated by life insurance (4.8% increase in GWP to EUR 325.94 million), which accounted for the 51.55% of the total premium volume. Non-life insurance accounted for 48.45% of the market, of which 24.23% were generated by motor insurance policies: motor hull (10.39%) and MTPL (13.84%).
