In January-March, in the MTPL market, 31.2 thousand claims were settled, of which 4,656 claims were paid by TAS, which is almost 14% higher than the number of paid claims of the insurer that ranks second.
In total, during the reporting period, all market participants paid compensation to victims in the amount of more than UAH 1 billion (~EUR 23.63 million). And the first place among them was also taken by the TAS group, which in three months paid UAH 162.8 million. Thus, the segment leader accounted for over 16% of the total payments of all market participants. At the same time, the gap between TAS and its closest competitor was 40.8%.
TAS is also actively strengthening its position in the Green Card market. According to MTIBU, in January-March TAS once again ranked first among insurers operating in this segment. Of almost 344.6 thousand policies issued during the period, 72,221 policies were purchased from TAS.
TAS ranks first in the Green Card market in terms of GWP. Over the three months since the beginning of the year, market participants collected a total of almost UAH 1.29 billion (~EUR 30.49 million) in the Green Card market. TAS sales are 86% higher than the amount of premiums collected by the company that ranks second in this segment.
