As of January 1, 2024, Gergely Bacso will take over the position of Allianz Hungaria Zrt. CEO and Chairman of the Board from Alexander V. Protsenko, Portfolio.hu reports with reference to the insurance company's announcement.

Gergely started his career in the field of consulting when he joined McKinsey in 2006. He was the head of the McKinsey Insurance Practice in Hungary, also held senior positions in McKinsey's local digital and technology business at QuantumBlack and the FinTech & InsurTech Center of Excellence in Budapest.

Alexander V. Protsenko has held the position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Allianz Hungaria since 2019. During his tenure, the company achieved visible success in all business areas and helped create a corporate culture based on innovation, mutual respect, and cooperation. Alexander will continue his career within the Allianz Group, the announcement of his new position is expected soon.
