The total property damage to vehicle owners after a strong hail that hit Astana on August 8 may exceed KZT 4.5 billion (~EUR 8.37 million), according to estimates from the EURASIA insurance company.

According to updated data, the estimated number of damaged vehicles due to hail has increased from 5,000 to 8,000. At the same time, Motor Hull covers no more than 10% of the total number of victims, the source says.
