The number of Green Card policies issued in Ukraine in January-August 2024 decreased by 8.7% y-o-y and amounted to slightly over 1 million units, Forinsurer writes with reference to the MTIBU’s report (Motor Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine).

At the same time, GWP collected under Green Card policies for the first 8 months of the year increased by 6.2% y-o-y, reaching UAH 3.75 billion (~EUR 82.96 million).

Paid claims increased by 16.2% - to EUR 32.46 million, while the number of settled claims increased by 9.8%, to 10.1 thousand.
