From January to June 2019, taxes paid by local insurers in Armenia amounted to AMD 928.5 million (~EUR 1.7 million), which is 18.2% less y-o-y, ArmInfo reports.

The taxes on profit, in particular, reached AMD 246.8 million (~EUR 0.45 million), which is 38.5% less compared to the same period last year. At that, by the end of June out of 6 insurance companies, operating in the market, only ARMENIA Insurance was not included into the list of 1,000 largest taxpayers of the country, according to the State Revenue Committee of the Republic.
