O`zbekinvest Hayot, the leader of the Uzbek insurance sector, announced the results of its paid claims for 1Q2020. January-March 2020 paid claims amount exceeded UZS 27.4 billion (~EUR 2.7 million), UzReport informed.

Voluntary insurance accounted for more than 97% of the company's paid claims, the rest being paid under compulsory insurance contracts (annuity insurance based on the law "On compulsory insurance of employers' civil liability").

According to the 2019 results, the company ranked first among 20 insurers of Uzbekistan in terms of GWP, the market share of O`zbekinvest Hayot exceeding 16%.
