VZP, the third largest company in the CZECH Republic, has new chiefs

Vseobecna zdravotni pojistovna (VZP), state health insurance company, has had a new chief and the chairman of the directors board since the end of Nov 2012.

About 65% of all Czech inhabitants have health insurance at VZP, the largest health insurance company in the Czech Republic.

VZP with a turnover of roughly CEK 150 bil/y is the third largest company in the Czech Republic after the automotive company Skoda Auto and the semi-state power company CEZ, which generates a turnover of about CEK 215 bil/y.

Lower turnovers are generated by other Czech state companies. For example the state railway company Ceske drahy generates a turnover of CEK 35 bil/y and the state post company Ceska posta a turnover of CEK 20 bil/y.
