Eurohold Bulgaria records double-digit growth in the first quarter

One of the leading energy and financial groups in Southeast Europe - Eurohold Bulgaria AD, owner of Euroins Insurance Group AD and the Electrohold group, recorded double-digit growth in the first quarter of the year and maintained the trend of stable growth in its performance.

According to the company’s press release, the holding company increased its consolidated revenue for the first quarter of 2026 by 10.8% year-on-year to EUR 539.87 million. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 4.6% year-on-year to EUR 51.97 million, and the consolidated net financial result for the period increased by 11.5% to EUR 21.64 million.

Revenues from energy activities, which form the largest part of the holding's business, reached EUR 447.6 million for the quarter, which is a growth of 9.9% per cent compared to the same period of the previous year. EBITDA from the same activity increased by 6.2% per year to EUR 48.85 million.

Operating income in the insurance sector increased by 15.8% to EUR 93.36 million, and insurance income increased by 13.3% to EUR 78.1 million. EBITDA from this activity increased 4.5 times to EUR 1.75 million.
